One day the people of the East will rise against the Politicians of the East. When that day comes, politicians will be on the run. Many will be in Abuja or Lagos ranting. Some trapped inside the East will run to poor people’s houses to hide. They will disguise themselves just to escape the wrath of the people.
When these things start, no military or police can stop them. It will be like a revolution. People will see it as a payback for the atrocities these politicians committed against the people. Some will remember the death of their loved ones at the hands of the Fulani Herdsmen terrorists and the criminal silence of these politicians.
This day will come. It will even come closer should the Supreme Court of Nigeria refuse to honor the court of Appeal judgment that said Mazi Nnamdi Kanu should be discharged. Or should the government still refuse to honor their court judgment.
As an event analyst, I have watched and noticed that the only reason IPOB is calm is that the window is not closed up yet, on the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Should Supreme Court close this window, many of you will ask if this is still the indigenous people of Biafra that have been telling people to be calm.
Nigeria’s government has used criminal agents they recruited to infiltrate and destroy IPOB from within by pushing the people into criminality and failed. Should this window I am talking about is recklessly closed by the Apex court, then take it when I say that the government will be tired of blackmailing IPOB. With such a dubious government they will set the East on fire and the politicians will be on the run because no place will be safe for them again. And such judgment will lead to near-violent disintegration. It won’t matter how long it takes.
To avoid this, Supreme Court should uphold the justice given in the appeal court, and the Nigerian government MUST obey the court judgment. Igbo politicians must start standing with the people and not be a slave to the Fulani oligarchy and watch helplessly like cowards while their people are slaughtered in their sleep by the Fulani herdsmen terrorists as it happened in Eha Amufu of Enugu State.
This is likely to be ignored because it was said by a School Teacher, but don’t forget that Philosophers have a way of predicting the future. You can either dissolve this country peacefully or set the ground for chaos. The choice is yours.
