Our Mission

Our objective is to restore our precolonial independence and the sovereign state we declared before the Biafran genocide.

Thus, we will be the architect of the policies and laws that guide us, and we will define ourselves by our own standards and values. To this end we seek no middle ground.

Our Land

Biafra is a tropical and coastal region in the south eastern area of West Africa between Nigeria and Southern Cameroons. It is a land endowed with rolling hills in its continental regions, fertile marsh in its coastal regions, and lush forests throughout.

Our People

Biafrans are the nation of people that originate from Biafra. They are the original inhabitants of the land. Biafra is blessed with a surprising amount of ethnic and linguistic diversity for its size, and within it one will find people such as Anioma, Efik, Ibibio, Idoma, Igala, Igbo, Igede, Ijaw, Ika, Ikwerre, Itsekiri, Ukwani, Urhobo, and many others.

Our Hebrew Heritage

Biafrans are Hebrews. With the advent of colonialism under the British many were shamed into converting to Christianity, but many of the Judeo cultural roots remain.

Our Family

Indigenous People of Biafra USA is the American chapter of Indigenous People of Biafra. Indigenous People of Biafra represents the social, political, and economic interests of Biafrans.

Our Leader

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), the Director of Radio Biafra and Biafra TV. Was born in Isiama Afara, Abia State Biafraland, (present day Nigeria). The son of HRM; Eze Israel Okwu Kanu (JP) and HRM Ugoeze Nnenne Kanu.
