This is one of the staunch member of Obidients and follower of Mr Peter Obi, who was part of those championing and parroting the state-sponsored character assassination and disrepute program against IPOB and the Eastern Security Network, pinning all crimes perpetrated in the South-East by criminals on IPOB/ESN even when there are no evidence to support their false claims.

And, even when IPOB has consistently dissociated itself from the criminals and actively condemning their activities in Biafraland. And also pointing out that the criminality in the South-East and its sustenance up until this day had the hands of the government in it, self-evidently so.

In a bid to destroy IPOB after the extraordinary rendition of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the government recruited, sponsored and overlooked the crimes perpetrated by the criminal gangs while pinning their activities on IPOB so as to compel the international community to follow suit and declare IPOB a terrorist organization. Yet, they were not satisfied.

Their animosity runs so deep that they feel IPOB quest for Biafra self-determination is a stumbling block for their principal’s chances in forthcoming elections. As unrealistic as that may seem.

So they align with whomever, take gig/contracts from politicians to run propaganda and public defamation against IPOB and ESN, just so they could spin narratives and sway public opinion. Though they have been unsuccessful and will continue to be. Because IPOB and the Eastern Security Network is innocent.

These were same people who stays mute and maintains criminal silence when the Fulani terrorists attacks the people in the South-East. Same people who applauded those who wished for the longevity of a mass murderer whom committed genocide on their very own ancestors.

Here is one of them speaking out of conscience sincerity, that IPOB should not be blindly accused of every crime in the South-East when there are other factors that should be investigated before consideration.

Better late than never, but we must acknowledge that this blind hate and witch hunt against IPOB and the ESN – who are actually fighting for the development and defense of the SouthEast – is one which has cost innocent lives of Igbo citizens.

People have been framed, tagged IPOB by their very own kiths and kins in family internal matters, business disputes etc and they invite the government security agencies to come pick them up and many of them never make it back. This is the very boomerang consequence of accusing innocent people or creating an exploitable avenue against your own people.

Just like the proscription of IPOB by the South-East Governors did not deter the Nigerian military and police from indiscriminately killing and massacring, arresting Igbo youths on sight – IPOB affiliated or not – during the operation Python Dance 1&2, is same way the pinning of every crime on IPOB is creating the ripple effect in the South-East of extrajudicial public-style execution.

Today, not only the Nigerian security forces but also state funded vigilante and militias are framing and executing innocent people, justifying their extrajudicial murder under the clause of being IPOB. A legacy which these artificial lovers of South-East helped create without considering the dire consequences of their actions.

It is happening and escalating sharply. Everyone is falling victim across the South-East board, the most recent is the one in Owerre Ezu-K’ala Anambra State where three innocent construction young men from Isuofia were framed and killed by the newly Agunechemba vigilante.

However, let it be on record that IPOB warned them but hate did not let them listen.
IPOB first commenced the mentioning of names and condemning of criminality in South-East particularly in Imo State declaring it was a state-sponsored Trojan Horse operation, asking for cooperation in that early instance to combat the crime. But, it all fell on deaf ears until it was too late. The criminals operated unabated terrorizing the communities and no one could ponder while the security forces refused to attack and confront them squarely.

Let the public take note of this especially those who loathe IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The quest and struggle for Biafra self-determination is legitimate and will be preserved regardless of what is thrown at it. However, it is in the interest of IPOB and every citizen of the SouthEast that Biafraland is shielded from any violent orchestrations, that was why ESN was formed; to wade off Fulani terrorism in the South East. And, they are doing so to the best their ability.

Any vindictive action taken or inspired by political vendetta or disagreement will only end up attracting ruin and violence not necessarily to the IPOB members but mostly the innocent citizens and residents in Biafraland.

Thus, all crimes and criminal tendencies must and should be investigated thoroughly before false accusations. This is to save lives of innocent people to stop falling victims of crimes they know nothing about. And, IPOB members are not only the innocent ones here. There are millions of South-East residents who shows little or no interest in the political discourse or turmoil in the South-East.

And, most times these are some of the people who fall victim of the framing and propaganda. Let us learn to critique constructively without putting the lives of our kiths and kins in harm’s way as a result of our actions and utterances.

We can disagree on the best way to move the Biafra nation or how to solve the endemic challenges facing the Eastern region but we cannot afford to set ourselves up, shoot ourselves in the foot with the guns and bullet offered to us by the enemies of our land people as well as our common goals and collective interests.
