BREAKING: IPOB Biafraland National Coordinator Assassinated!

At around 9:45pm of October 18th 2024, a shocking wave of information about the assassination of Mazi Ikechukwu Ugwuoha, the Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB) Homeland national Coordinator hit our information line. According to the intel, Mazi Ikechukwu was returning from his daily activities when he was struck and killed by the enemy, beside his abode, grossly at the behest of his wife and kids.

At present, Family Writers Press International(FWPI)’s investigative team have gathered several more intels in respect to the unfortunate incident, but still in steady reach to the necessary authorities and awaiting a more conclusive result of an earnest investigation that was instantly commenced by the IPOB M-Branch intelligence about the fall of this IROKO.

Late Mazi Ikechukwu Ugwuoha was appointed the IPOB homeland national coordinator in 2018 and has occupied this position honourably. The working and tireless leader did all possible bests and ensured that IPOB Homeland is intact regardless of provocations of the enemies, he resolutely ensured that every IPOB agendas in the homeland progressed unhindered by the agent provocateurs and infiltrators, up until this moment of his unfortunate demise.

His assassination marks a yet uncertain turn in the IPOB struggle for Biafra self-determination because, while results of investigations are yet to be published, the possible suspects into his murder are not far fetched.

The IPOB movement on her relentless cause for Biafra self-determination has been made enemy by hydra-headed and multiple outlets/proxies, but speculations are not many.

Following the incident, IPOB activists and Biafrans on social networks have reacted to the sad news and expressed dismay and heartbroken emotions while at the same time saluting the courage of Mr Ikechukwu who served their cause for freedom diligently for 6 years up until his death in the enemy’s hand without compromise.

The wife of the incarcerated Leader of the IPOB movement (@okwukkanu) in reaction said;
“My heart is broken!!
Ikechukwu Ùgwùọha!!!!”

Another X user (@JusticeOdire) with an animated picture of soldier of saluting the Biafra flag wrote;

“Comrade Ikechukwu Ugwuoha fought gallantly, and d!ed without a shred of fear”.

Mazi Ikechukwu’s murder has stirred the living and the dead. But while the world awaits the outcome of the investigations into his assassination, there is no doubt that the event has churned and opened a new page of aggression and suppression against the nonviolent movement for Biafra self-determination.

The IPOB movement has continued to endure provocations from its hydra-headed opponents, especially since the kidnap and extraordinary rendition of her Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in 2021.
