#IPOB COMMENDS BIAFRANS FOR NOT PARTICIPATING IN THE NIGERIAN FLAG INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
The Directorate of State (DOS) of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and IPOB worldwide wishes to commend Biafrans, friends of Biafra, and lovers of Biafra freedom for jettisoning the celebration of Nigeria flag independence on October 1st in Alaigbo.
IPOB also commends responsible Nigerians who refused to take part in the Nigerian flag independence celebration. Instead, they chose to protest against the criminal and bad governance in Nigeria. The Br!tish contrapt!on called Nigeria has fa!led and will continue to fa!l everyone, particularly Biafrans, who have been slaught€red in order to maintain the unworkable Nigeria unity.
Biafrans shunning the celebration of the Nigerian flag independence day is a clear demonstration of our unwillingness to continue with the British forced unity called Nigeria. Biafrans all over the world seek Biafra Independence, where their rights will be protected.
IPOB also thanks Biafran students, teachers, businessmen, and women, and all the market leaders in Biafraland for going about their normal business on October 1st. The days of flying bl00dy Nigerian flags in Biafran Land are over. Biafrans are more than ready to usher in a new nation that will be a beacon of hope for all Africans. Biafra will be the light of Africa and hope for all Africans globally.
Once again, we thank Biafrans for not participating in the just concluded flag independence celebration in Nigeria. Nigerian amalgamation treaty that Britain forced on the indigenous ethnic groups in Nigeria has expired. We are looking forward to a Biafra referendum date or outright declaration of Biafra Independence soon.
