National Idol of the people of Asaba - 1888

" taken in a war by the Royal Niger Company in 1888.
" Every temple, juju house and idol was destroyed with the exception of this Ikenga idol which was taken by Dr. Cross of the Royal Niger Compnay and was given by him to Mr. Packer of the Church Missionary Society who gave it to Dr. W. Allan.
donated by Allan to the PRM in 1902.
