1: IPOB leadership has withdrawn interest in the on going trials before Justice Binta Nyako at the federal High Court Abuja on the basis that Supreme Court Justices on 15th December 2023 delivered what was widely believed as a miscarriages of justice when they reversed a case due for ruling or affirmation of already landmark ruling of Appeal Court which same Supreme Court Justices admitted to as follows
1 That Mazi Nnamdi Kanu did not jump bail but escaped assassination when the military invaded his house on 14th September 2017
2 That the manner in which Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was abducted in Kenya and extraordinary renditioned to Nigeria was wrong
3 That Justice Binta Nyako shouldn't have revoked Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's bail .
4 Note that the appeal court of Nigeria in their October 13, 2022 landmark ruling put all the above vital points into consideration and based on same to discharge and acquits Mazi Nnamdi Kanu of all the frivolous charges against him and declared that mazi Nnamdi Kanu is ineligible to stand trials further in any Nigerian court
5 despite admittance and recognition of all the wrongdoings of federal government against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by Supreme Court Justices. Supreme courts reluctantly reversed a due judgment back to lower court in their ill deliverd verdict while Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is remanded back to DSS dungeon without bail against his human rights. A clear indication that the dependent Supreme Court Justices were cowed, intimidated to do the bidding of the federal government in bending Justice to favour the wish of their paymasters.
On these basis the leadership of IPOB known as Directorate of States declared their loss of confidence in the continuation of the on going shambolic trials as they have little or no better expectation of the future outcome of the case .
Note that the leadership position in withdrawing their interest is a decision taken to save the struggle and solidified their commitment to the very pursuit of total freedom of Biafra from Nigeria while standing in solidarity with our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Hence the witness of very poor court outing today February 26, 2024 ,
Today's court outing witnessed the absence of two senior advocates of Nigeria Mike Ozekhome (SAN) Chief Barrister Kanu Godwin Agabi (SAN ) and IPOB lead counsel Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor Esq leaving a high profiled case file of such nature . The case file of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at the hand of Barrister Aloy Ejimakor the family lawyer who has no record of wining any case to his credit.
While Nigeria Federal Government has engaged three senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) to take over the prosecution of mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case .
Chief Adegboyega Awomolo as the leading SAN and he is the one who refused shaking hands with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in the court today.
But the facts remains that while Biafra should worry less is that a reliable information available has confirmed that IPOB leadership are in close monitoring of the situation in the federal high court and also in touch with our leader in regards to his health conditions but has moved on in exploring other confidential options to compel Nigeria government to discontinue the on going political persecution of our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and grant him unconditional release together with Biafrans total exit from Nigeria through United Nation supervised referendum. #Hashtag
