My esteemed mentor, Prof. Mike Ozekhome, SAN, was honoured to be among The Patriots who met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Shettima on August 9, 2024. During this meeting, the group encouraged the President to convene a National Constituent Assembly to draft a democratic constitution by the people for the country.
The group also recommended that the National Assembly be requested to pass legislation for a national referendum, as the current laws do not provide for one.
Indeed, there will be light at the end of the tunnel. ✨️
