The legal team of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu ably led by the legal Iroko- Chief Mike Ozekhome, SAN, on Wednesday, the 21st December, 2022, commenced legal action against the State Security Service (SSS) and its Director General.
The fulcrum of this suit, is to compel the State Security Service, to provide Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu with the much needed medical care, which they have consistently denied him.
The Federal Government of Nigeria and its State Security Service, cannot illegally hold Onyendu in their custody, in defiance of the judgment of the Court of Appeal, which discharged Onyendu and prohibited his further detention and prosecution, and still refuse to adequately cater to his medical needs.
Ezigbo UmuChineke should be rest assured that we shall continue to do everything within our powers, legally, to ensure the unconditional release of Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, which is sacrosanct and inevitable.
