We visited our indefatigable Client – Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, today, the 28th day of September 2023, to brief him on a positive development in the ongoing appeals before the Supreme Court, thanks to the concerted efforts of our erudite Lead Counsel- Prof. Mike Ozekhome, SAN. While the specifics will remain confidential, we assure Ezigbo UmuChineke of regular updates in respect thereto as the need arises.
It should be noted that the State Security Service (SSS) has not yet provided Onyendu’s medical team with his outstanding medical records, despite making specific commitments to ensure full compliance therewith. Additionally, the SSS has yet to implement the extensive recommendations from Onyendu’s medical team regarding other medical solutions to address his worsening health condition.
However, we have received specific instructions to explore available legal remedy permissible in the circumstance towards addressing this grave violation of court judgments and orders. The appropriate legal process will be initiated immediately.
